The functions of my ps3 bluetooth headset 2.0?

Alright, I bought it today and I paired it with my ps3 and blackberry. I also fully charged it. When I use it with my blackberry, it's crystal clear, no problems. Now, when I use it with my ps3, my friends sound choppy and the sound is low even when the volume is high enough. I want to know if it's my headset that's the problem and if there's a way that I can fix it. The fact that it works flawlessly with my blackberry tells me that it has a problem with my ps3. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.
