HDMI laptop to TV connection problems?

About 2 months ago, the screen on my HP G60 laptop stopped working. I think it's a connection problem that is too expensive to fix. So until I can get a new computer, I've been connecting the laptop to my Dynex TV via HDMI. This has worked flawlessly in the past, but I can no longer get a signal on my TV when the computer is hooked up. I've tried several HDMI cords and TVs but none work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong??
