3ds will not play Pokemon Games, HELP!?

So I bought a 3ds a while back, and at first it was just fine. It played Soul Silver flawlessly, and every thing was cool. I got busy, and couldn't play (the 3ds and the games) for a couple weeks. Than I go to play Soul Silver, but it only goes as far as the screen where you press the button to continue, than I get a black screen. I tried all my other Pokemon games (Platinum, Diamond, Ect), same result. Other games, such as Nintendogs, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and Monkey Ball 3ds work fine. I've tried to start a new game, however it never finishes deleting the file. I CAN start a new game but only the type of new game where you can't save, y'know, without the button combination to delete the file. I have never cheated on Pokemon before (using ar and such), and my games where all new when I bought them, not used, so it can't be some effect or aring at all.I've tried blowing into the cartridge, giving it some time, turning the 3ds on and off, checking settings, EVERTHING. Could anyone please help?
